Your Home for the Holidays

The ski season is in full swing with bluebird days and beautifully groomed Deer Valley runs, and of course, Stein Eriksen Lodge is tastefully decorated for the holidays with a seasonal gingerbread display, giant Christmas tree, plenty of tinsel, and the fresh smell of Utah pinyon pine being burnt in the guest fireplaces throughout the property.

From horse-drawn sleigh rides to the famous Sunday brunch, Stein Eriksen Lodge has plenty of activities for the whole family during the festive season between Thanksgiving and the end of December, and with the seasonal specials, now is the best time to enjoy your favorite home away from home.

Here are a few of our favorite activities around town this holiday season.

Skiing Deer Valley

This one is a no-brainer. Stein Collection properties offer the best access to the greatest snow on earth to ensure your holiday vacation is legendary. Equipment rentals are available through each property, but you should secure your tickets and rentals before arriving. Early December is an underrated time to visit, especially if you can get a few good days in before the winter break begins.

For beginners, Deer Valley offers one of the best ski school programs in the world, while other programs, such as the Ski with a Champion, provide guests of all abilities the opportunity to learn from the best.

S'mores at the Fire Pits

Many guests may be unaware, but complimentary s'mores kits are available at the concierge desk for a fun year-round activity. Stop by the concierge desk to pick up your kit, then head to the fire pits for some mallow roasting fun for the whole family. You can find a couple of fire pits just outside the Champions Club entertainment center, and the game room is adjacent to the plaza at Stein Eriksen Lodge, which offers a great spot for games and to grab après drinks or dinner.

The Spa

If you have never experienced the five-star spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge, what better gift could you give yourself this holiday season?

Enjoy a world-class massage or facial treatment before dinner after a day on the pristine Deer Valley slopes. Remember to take advantage of the steam room or plunge pools, and of course, the outdoor heated hot tubs are a great place to relax as the snow gently falls.

Historic Main Street

Take the complimentary shuttle down to Historic Main Street in Old Town Park City. During the holidays, the city strings lights across Main Street for some added and vibrant cheer. Check out the mix of local boutiques and large retailers for holiday shopping. You are sure to find something for everyone in your life. Main Street offers a plethora of local boutiques, name-brand shops, and everything in between. Stores are busy, and there are ample dining and nightlife options all along Main Street.

We look forward to welcoming you this holiday season and wish you a very merry season!
