Stein Day Celebration

Join us as we honor Stein Eriksen on his birthday, December 11, for the annual celebratory champagne toast. Russ Olsen, Stein Collection CEO, will kick off the event in the lobby of the Mountain Lodge in front of the Stein Trophy Case at 3 p.m. Tom Kelly, a lifelong friend of Stein, will share some memories and stories followed by the toast.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE

Stop by the Mountain Lodge November 29 - January 1 to take in the thirty-two-foot Christmas tree. Hand decorated by our staff, the annual tree marks the onset of the holidays at Stein. A freshly cut tree is brought inside, hoisted up using ropes and manpower, and then carefully trimmed and decorated with ornaments, toys, and shimmering lights. This elaborate tree reaches from the floor to the apex of the vaulted ceiling in the Lodge and is finished with oversized gifts at its base.

ANNUAL GINGERBREAD DISPLAY

Every holiday season Executive Pastry Chef Jeremy Garcia and his team design, bake, create and decorate a spectacular gingerbread display. Now in its 23rd year, a surprise display will be unveiled for guests and visitors to admire alongside the 32' Christmas tree in the Mountain Lobby on November 29th. Former presentations have included movie scenes from Star Wars, Peanuts, Frozen, Harry Potter, and detailed models of an original fire truck, Norwegian Viking ship and the Empire State Building.

HOLIDAY ORNAMENT PAINTING

Looking to bring out the artist in your little ones? Join us for a fun afternoon designing your own holiday ornament. Ornaments, paint and paintbruses are provided. No reservation needed and no cost to join.

November 29th & December 20th at 4:30 p.m. in the Flagstaff room located in the Mountain Lodge.

Create Your Own Gingerbread House

Create your own gingerbread house! Gingerbread, icing and all the decorations to make the perfect holiday display are included. The cost is $50 per child (or adult!). Reservations are required and can be made at the concierge desk.

December 21st and December 28th at 4:30 p.m. in the Flagstaff room located in the Mountain Lodge.

Santa Claus Visits Steins

Santa Claus will be making a visit to Stein Eriksen Lodge on Decmeber 22nd at 4:30 p.m. Be sure to stop by and bring the little ones for a picture.

Christmas Cookie Decorating

Join us for our annual holiday cookie decorating on December 27th at 4:30 p.m. in the Flagstaff room. Cookies, decorations and icing will be provided. No reservation is required and no fee to join in the holiday fun.

There is no better setting for a golden, warm, toasty s'more than the gorgeous backdrop of the Wasatch mountains. Swing by the front desk or concierge to pick up a complimentary s'mores kit and gather around one of the outdoor fire pits to roast your delicious treat.

Private Wine Tasting

Private wine tastings for up to 10 guests are available and are led by one of our certified sommeliers. Tastings are held in the on-site Wine Cellar where guests are surrounded by our inventory of 20,000+ bottles of wine. We offer hour-long blind tastings of six wines accompanied by a charcuterie board with selections to compliment the chosen vareities. Please note: Guests must be 21 years of age to participate or be in the wine tasting cellar.

E-Bike Experience

Enjoy E-Bike rentals during your stay. Bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Helmets will be available with each rental; additional biking gear is available for rent or purchase via Stein Sport.
