The Transformation of Deer Valley Resort

The three new chairlifts opening this season, each anchored in Deer Valley's East Village, seamlessly connect skiers to the resort's existing terrain. Keetley Express, Deer Valley's first six-person chairlift with a bubble, drops skiers off near the bottom terminal of the Sultan Express chairlift on Bald Mountain. Two additional chairlifts, Hoodoo Express and Aurora, provide access to beginner-friendly trails and return connectivity to Deer Valley East Village.

These lifts opened a year ahead of schedule, with more to come next season, connecting over 5,700 total acres, making Deer Valley Resort one of the biggest resorts in North America.

The feedback from this new terrain opening has prompted Deer Valley to open Yaup and the lower section of Overlooked for the first time. The mountain operations team will also consider opening Cornerstone and Waterloo within the coming weeks.

In a press release from the resort, Todd Bennett, Deer Valley President & Chief Operating Officer, said, "This terrain expansion represents a transformative moment for Deer Valley and our skiing guests," "Keetley Express and the skier access through the new Deer Valley East Village are the next steps in our commitment to deliver exceptional access and unparalleled ski experiences. These enhancements make our world-class terrain even more accessible while maintaining the thoughtful design and exceptional experience that define Deer Valley."

Stein Collection is excited to have the first chair as Deer Valley experiences this exciting transformation. This new growth offers a fresh experience to guests who already know and love Deer Valley as one of the best ski destinations in the world.

The skier’s buffet is available at Glitretind throughout the season, as is Stein’s famous après fondue at Troll Hallen. Additionally, Cena Lounge offers one of the best après atmospheres in town, and the pizzettas are a perfect post-ski option. 7880 Club at Stein Eriksen Residences remains a guest favorite, and this season’s menu is particularly exceptional-the short rib poutine is a must-try.

There is plenty of time to get to Park City and enjoy the snow this season, and Stein Collection has plenty of special offers to take advantage of, including the new Sundays at Stein's seasonal offer.
